Iraq exported over 109 million barrels of oil, earning $9.6 billion in October

SULAIMANI, Kurdistan Region — The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has reported that the country exported more than 109 million barrels of crude oil in October, bringing in revenues of $9.6 billion.

Of the total exported, 108 million barrels came from central and southern Iraq, with an additional one million barrels from the Gayara (Qayyarah) fields, and almost 464,000 barrels sent to Jordan.

The average price per barrel in October was $88.26. The exports were facilitated by 37 international companies and took place through various ports, including Basra, Khor Al-Zubair, single buoys, the modern Kirkuk warehouse, and tanker trucks.

The Ministry stated that it shares these monthly statistics as part of its commitment to transparency and keeping the public informed about the country’s oil export operations and the associated revenues.
