SULAIMANI, Kurdistan Region — A suspected Turkish drone strike killed two members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and injured others in Sulaimani’s Raparin administration on Monday, according to the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Unit.
The attack took place around 11:15 a.m. local time in the village of Bosken near Ranya district.
The Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Unit reported the incident and casualties, as it usually does with Turkish airstrikes on PKK members in the Kurdistan Region.
However, Dr. Diyar Ibrahim of the Raparin health directorate provided different figures. He confirmed to Zoom News that four people had been taken to the hospital with injuries, adding that their condition was “unstable.”
